Pakistani players to play All India jr squash tourney
New Delhi, Jan 23 (UNI) After their impressive show at British Junior Open last year, a Pakistani contingent of junior squash players is arriving here to compete in the Hamdard-Delton All India Junior Squash Championship which begins on Thursday.
The four-day event will see a record 150 players vying for the biggest purse in junior squash in India with a total prize money of Rs two lakh.
The championship will feature play in five categories each for both boys and girls. The categories are as follows, under-9, under-11, under-13, under-15 and under-17. All eyes will be on teen sensation Ravi Dixit who won the Junior Scottish Open Squash Championship last month.
