Pakistan to announce Abu Dhabi-bound squad on Monday

Lahore, May 4 (UNI) Pakistan squad for the forthcoming three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka in Abu Dhabi is likely to be announced on next Monday.

The Dawn quoted selection committee chief Salahuddin Ahmed as saying that he would try to announce the team by Monday as the ongoing fitness and selection camp would end today after the second trial match.

The second and final phase of the camp will be held from May 10 to May 15, after which the taem will leave for Abu Dhabi under the leadership of newly-appointed skipper Shoaib Malik.

The Abu Dhabi series was earlier slated to start from May 8.

But later it was rescheduled for May 18, 20 and 22 following Sri Lanka team's request for rest after their long and tiring World Cup campaign.
