Pak sportspersons condemn Samjhauta attack

Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, Feb 19 (UNI) Pakistan's Seven-a-Side Football Federation President Mohammad Saleem Khan and General Secretary Chaudhry Ashraf Chandar have condemned the terror attack on the Attari-bound Samjhauta Express as a heinous attempt to strain the relations between South Asian neighbours.

Expressing grief over the heavy loss of life, the duo added that terrorists engineered such tragedies to derail peace intitiatives.

Khan and Chandar led a team here for a three-day football championship that concluded here yesterday and also involved India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bhutan.
