Pak Minister angry at Australia continuing India Tour

Lahore, Sep 30 (UNI) Why the Australian cricket team is still in India? Federal Sports Minister Najamuddin Khan wants to know.

Khan also wanted to know that while Australians cited security reason for not visiting Pakistan, then why did they go and stay in India before, during and after several bomb blasts took place there.

''Australia can play in India despite several bomb blasts there but they're refusing to tour here. I will talk to them and discuss this issue,'' a visibly upset Khan said.

''I will be going to Dubai to attend the ICC meeting there and will talk to Cricket Australia officials about this,'' he said.

According to Khan, the Government was ready to assure fool-proof security to the players for the Champions Trophy and he will highlight this point forcefully in the ICC meeting .

The minister added that he would discuss the domestic ban policy on players, who have signed up for the Indian Cricket League (ICL).
