Open Kick Boxing Championship from Aug 23

Visakhapatnam, July 28 (UNI) The first National Open Kick Boxing Championship would be held here from August 23 to 26, district Kick Boxing Association Organising Committee President Y Venkateswara Rao today said.

Addressing a press conference he said the championship would be conducted for senior, junior and sub junior categories in the men's and women's sections. The events in the senior categories would include full contact, low kick, thai kick, musical forms and aero kick boxing.

This is the first time that the national open kick boxing championship was being organised in Andhra Pradesh.

The district association had produced a number of national and international kick boxers, who had participated in various championships and won laurels.

To commemorate the mega event the association also decided to circulate a souvenir with valuable informations all over the country and also overseas.
