ONGC to face SB Mysore in JP Atray opener

Chandigarh, Sep 16 (UNI) Oil and Natural Gas Corporation of Delhi will meet last year's runners-up Sate Bank of Mysore in the opening match of the 15th All India JP Atray Memorial Cricket Tournament for the Pearls Trophy at the Sector 16 Cricket Stadium here tomorrow.

State Bank of Mysore will be led by wicket keeper Tilak Nayudu and have in their ranks B Akhil, Anand Kati, KN Ramesh and KST Sai whereas ONGC have Test star Munaf Patel and former Test players Ajay Ratra and Sarandeep Singh.

Meanwhile, the BPCL-Mumbai team has arrived but their adversaries State Bank of Hyderabad have cried off at the last moment citing the blast in Delhi as the reason for their last minute cancellation of the tour. Consequently there will be only one match and BPCL will get a walkover against State Bank of Hyderabad.

An Assam Cricket Association XI will be arriving tonight and India Cements Ltd tomorrow morning to take part in the tournament.

Former Indian skipper Saurav Ganguly and medium pacer Ranadeb Bose will arrive on September 18 to assist local outfit LIC Club in the tournament.
