ONGC holds Army XI

Kozhikode, Mar 29 (UNI) Minnows ONGC Mumbai held Army XI, New Delhi to a 1-1 draw in the ONGC Second Division National Football League here today.

Striker Ngerni Lal scored the goal for Army in the 38th minute, while Tarif Ahamed shot the equaliser in the 86th minute making the score 1-1.

After today's game Salgaocar Goa leads the points table with four points followed by Viva Kerala and Vasco Goa with three points each and Army XI two and ONGC one.

Chirag United Kolkata will take on Vasco, Goa tomorrow.
