NPS Academy score second successive win in Challenge Cup

Chandigarh, Sept 6 (UNI) New Public School (NPS) Football Academy, Sector 18, today ousted Jammu and Kashmir Football Association by 4-2 in a pool C outing of the fifth Administrator's Challenge Cup Under-17 Football Tournament being played here.

The last pool C match between Haryana Football Association and NPS FA to be played tomorrow will decide the pool leaders and qualifiers for semi-finals from this group.

Meanwhile, Sports Authority of India team whipped Chattisgarh Football Academy by 10-1 in pool B league encounter.

Goa and Daman Diu stunned Cantonment Board Senior Secondary School, Jalandhar by 3-0 in an inconsequential pool D fixture as Services Sports Control Board have already qualified for semi-final by remaining unbeaten in the four-team league. JA Norunha (22nd minute) and Kalpesh Kumar (31st and 77th) were the goal scorers for winners.

Tomorrow's fixtures: Orissa FA vs Rajasthan FA , New Public School vs Haryana FA and CFA vs Delhi SA, SAI vs Mahilpur FA.
