New Zealand's Gillespie ruled out of England match
GROS ISLET, St Lucia, Mar 13 (Reuters) New Zealand fast bowler Mark Gillespie will miss Friday's World Cup Group C match with England, a team spokesman said today.
Gillespie's bowling arm became numb on his arrival in the West Indies earlier this month following a rare reaction to a throat virus.
Feeling gradually came back and he bowled in the nets today but he was ruled out of the England game because he missed last week's warm-up games and was lacking match practice.
Peter Fulton broke a finger during his side's warm-up win over Sri Lanka on Friday and a decision will probably be made on Thursday over his participation against England.
All-rounder Jacob Oram has fully recovered from his fractured finger.
