National handball from Nov 19

Bangalore, Nov 4: Karnataka plays host to the six-day Senior National Netball Championship beginning here on November 19.

State Handball Association Secretary M K Nagendra said in a statement that 28 states would be seen in action. Over 600 players and officials would take part in this year's nationals.

Punjab had emerged as winners during the last championship. The teams would be divided into four pools and the matches would be held on league-cum-knockout basis, he added.
