Nandish, Manjula to lead K'taka volleyball teams

Bangalore, Jan 10 (UNI) Nandish and V K Manjula will lead the Karnataka boys and girls team respecitvely in the 33rd Junior National Volleyball Championship, to be held at Vijayawada from January 13 to 20.

While Karnataka boys were the defending champions, the girls team finished as quarterfinalists in the last edition held here, Karnataka Volleyball Association General Secretary K Nandakumar said in a release here today.

Following is the team : Boys: Nandish (Capt), M V Nagesh, S Sagar, T B Madhusudan, Marthi G Nayak, Manjunath Talikot, L Somashekar, Prudviraj, S A Karthik, R C Nandakumar, H Vinodkumar, P R Anoop. Coach: Krishne Gowda.

Girls: V K Manjula (Capt), K Swetha, R Mala, V R Manjusha, Darshini Malar, B C Akshata, B C Kavyashree, H R Shruthi, T A Likitha, K S Chaya, Jhansy Rani, P V Hemalatha. Coach: K C Ashok.
