Naldhera to host Emaar MGF Golf championship

Shimla, Oct 11 (UNI) Industrialists and former cricketers, including Kapil Dev and Ajay Jadeja, are participating in the one day Emaar MGF Golf Championship to be held at Naldehra Golf course, near here, on October 13, additional chief secretary Avay Shukla today said, He said that this championship is first of its kind in the region and is expected to attract a large number of industrialists from the country.

''The event will catapult Naldehra into a favoured golfing as well as conference destination, thereby attracting high end tourist to the state,'' he said.

Mr Shukla said the golf course was being upgraded with the acquisition of another 40 bighas of land so that national level tournaments could also be held here.
