MWG event to decide 21 golds tomorrow

Hyderabad, Oct 14 (UNI) Twenty one golds will be decided tomorrow in the fourth CISM Military World Games being held here at various venues, but it has to be seen whether India figures in the medal tally after it drew blank in 1999 and 2003 edition of the games.

While athletics will produce nine golds, aquatics will follow closely with eight golds, judo with three golds and diving with one gold.

Star attraction of the track and field events, 100 meter dash in both the men and women sections will be decided tomorrow. 100 meter free style event in swimming too is attracting sports lovers.

Though India is taking part in almost all the events, medal hopes were raised in track and field, boxing, shooting, sailing and wrestling.
