Mumbai Club defeats Osean's by 1-0, to maintain winning trend

Kolhapur, Mar 31 (UNI) A 80th minute goal by Noel Willson helped Mumbai Football Club to defeat Osean's New Delhi heroes by 1-0 to maintain the team's winning trend in the ONGC 2nd division National league Football tournament at the Chhatrapati Shahu Stadium here today.

In the first half time, no goals were registered as both sides played defensive, which continued in second half as both sides missed opportunities with hits missing the net.

In the 80th minute, Mumbai Football Club's Noel Willson registered the first goal for his team through a penalty, to take a lead of 1-0, which continued till the end of the play.

With this win, Mumbai has registered its second successive win in the tournament after its earlier win in the first match against Indian Bank, Tamil Nadu by 3-0 on March 26.
