Most Americans have forgiven Woods after public apology: Poll

Washington, Feb 20 (ANI): Most Americans have forgiven Tiger Woods after his public apology over his extra marital affairs, a new poll suggests.

HCD Research conducted a national media study of 1,090 Americans after Woods came up with his statement.

The survey found 60 percent of people who watched Woods' apology thought he was sincere.

In fact, more women (61 percent) believed the golfer than men (58 percent), reports Fox News.

Also, 31 percent said their perception of Woods had improved, while 17 percent said it changed in a negative way.

However, 51 percent said their opinion remained unchanged.

Woods said during the public apology he was "deeply sorry for" his "irresponsible and selfish behavior." (ANI)
