Miandad's elder brother Bashir passes away

Karachi, Dec.4(ANI): Former Pakistan cricket captain Javed Miandad's elder brother Bahsir Miandad passed away here late on Thursday.

Bashir, 59, was admitted to the Aga Khan Hospital in October after suffering serious injuries in a car accident near Hyderaabad.

Bashir, who was also a first-class cricketer, is survived by his wife and two sons, The Daily Times reports.

His other two brothers Anwar Miandad and Sohail Miandad were also first class cricket players.

Bashir's last rites would be performed on Friday (today) at the Sakhi Hasan graveyard. (ANI)
