MHA general body meets tomorrow

Pune, Sep 6 (UNI) The general body meeting of Maharashtra Hockey Association (MHA) will be held at the association's registered office Dr Erin Nagaravalla School tomorrow to elect the new body of office-bearers.

The MHA, riddled with in-fighting and court cases since past two decades, did little to promote the game in the affilated districts, marring the prospects of the talents.

As many as 14 nominations have been received for the election of the new office-bearers till August 30.

MHA president Sarosh Nagarvalla will be chairing the meeting here tomorrow.

Last year, the elections could not take place due to court wranglings.
