Meenakshi claims individual championship

Thiruvananthapuram, Jan 25 (UNI) Meenakshi P of Punjab with 50.50 points secured the Women's Individual Championship in the 48th Senior National Gymnastic Championships held here at Jimmy George Indoor Stadium today.

Meenakshi secured 13.10 points in Floor, 12.95 points in Beam, 13.30 points in Vault and 11.20 points in the Uneven Bar events.

Roopali Halder of Railways secured Silver getting 49.80 points while the Bronze went to Preethi Das also of Railways with 48.05 points.
