Manoj Malkhani elected President of Poona Club

Pune, Sep 29 (UNI) Noted city builder Manoj Malkhani and Ms Rekha Krishnan were elected president and vice-president of the Poona Club respectively, in the election held here.

Malkhani defeated Dr Srikant Kelkar in a straight contest, polling 874 votes to that of his rival's 737 yesterday.

While Rekha Krishnan had the better of Suresh Naik and Mr Chandu Dabhade in a triangular contest. She got a tally of 816 votes as against Naik's 547 and Dabhade (239).
