Manipur, Haryana win gold each in wushu competition

Ranchi, Feb 14 (PTI) Manipur and Haryana bagged one goldeach in the wushu competition of the 34th National Games heretoday.

M Sadananda logged 9.59 points to beat M Gyandash Singh(8.76) of the Services Sports Control Board (SSCB) for thegold as local lad Th Modun Maring (8.41) settled for thebronze in the taijiquan men event at the Thakur VishwanathShahdeo Indoor Stadium in Mega Sports Complex here.

In taijiquan women''s event, Manipur''s L Sanatombi (8.69)pipped K Rita Devi of Uttar Pradesh (8.59) for the gold, whileKh Bidyashwori bagged the bronze to swell the medals tally formeet leaders Madhya Pradesh.
