Mangaonkar, Saai Meera enter semis

Mumbai, Jan 14 (PTI) Local boy and top seed MaheshMangaonkar reached the semi finals of the boys under 19 and 17categories of the Rs 2.69-lakh prize money All India LittleMasters Junior Squash Tournament, organized and hosted byWillingdon Sports Club, Mahalaxmi today.

Showing good stamina Mahesh defeated Vishesh Wanvari11-4, 11-3, 11-3 in the under-19 quarter finals and thenoutclassed Nikhil Makhija 11-2, 11-4, 11-4 in the under 17event.

Tamil Nadu�s second seed Saai Meera also reached thegirls under 19 semi finals after edging out local girl NamrataPurohit 9-11, 11-2, 11-3, 5-11, 11-5 in the quarter finals.

Boys u-19: 1-Mahesh Mangaonkar bt Vishesh Wanvari 11-4,11-3, 11-3; Sumer Rao bt Prem More 11-3, 11-9, 11-0; 2-SamirMistry bt 4-Aakash Borwankar 5-11, 11-8, 13-11, 17-15.
