Manaudou sets 200m freestyle world record
MELBOURNE, Mar 28 (Reuters) Laure Manaudou of France set a world record of one minute 55.52 seconds to win the women's 200 metres freestyle final at the world swimming championships today.
Manaudou slashed 0.95 off the previous record of 1:56.47 set by Italian Federica Pellegrini in Tuesday's semi-finals.
