Man Singh to lead Chandigarh in U-21 National Championship

Chandigarh, Jan 30 (UNI) Man Singh has been appointed as the captain of the Chandigarh 22-member squad which will compete in the National Football Championship for Under-21 to be held in Madurai (Tamil Nadu) from February 1.

According to a spokesman of the Chandigarh Football Association, Jagmeet Singh and Ajay Pal Singh will accompany the team as coach and manager, respectively.

The other member of the squad are Jasmeet Singh, Abhi Nandan, Suraj Bhagi, Manpreet Singh, Jatin Sharma, Mukut, Jagroop Singh, Kamal, Manoj, Majid Hussain, Yadvinder Singh, Tejinder Singh, Ashitosh, Rahul, Sunny, Manjeet Singh, Puran Chand, Yogesh and Chani Sohal.

Meanwhile, the Chandigarh Football Association has chosen 24 girls for coaching camp in preparation for the Senior National Women Football Championship to be held in Kolkata from February 23.

The selected probables will attend the training camp from Februray 6 till departure of the team.
