Maharashtra tops in Malakhamb Championship in Goa

Panaji, Nov 29 (UNI) As expected, Maharashtra emerged as overall champions in both boys and girls category of the 25th Malakhamb Championship, organised by Goa Malakhamba Association, that concluded at Mardol in south Goa last evening.

While Tamil Nadu boys and girls excelled in 'Pyramid' claiming top positions.

Earlier, two foreigners, Giokoumelou Niloleta of Greece and Fred Normal of Alaska, gave a pleasing display of 'Rope Malakhamb'.

Goa Legislative Assembly Speaker Pratapsingh Rane, who was the chief guest, presented the winners with awards.
