Maharashtra selection chess tourney from August 24-28

Mumbai, Aug 18 (UNI) The Maharashtra State Selection Chess Tournament (FIDE Rated) will be held at the Andheri Sports Complex here from August 24 to 28.

The Maharashtra State Rapid chess tournament will also be held on August 29 and 30, a release issued by the organisers--Bombay Chess Association stated here today.

Both the tournaments will be played on the Swiss League format over nine rounds, the release added.
