Mah win bronze in women's water polo, finals tomorrow

Guwahati, Feb 15 (UNI) Maharashtra won the Bronze medal in women's water polo defeating Karnataka 10-5 in the 33rd National Games here today.

Dipti Motghare was the leading scorer for Maharashtra, with three goals. Two goals apiece were scored by Gayatri Patkar and Supriya Ajmire.

Kerala and Delhi will meet in the women's water polo final tomorrow.

In a round robin match of men's water polo, Kerala defeated West Bengal by a margin of 11-6.

For Kerala, the leading scorer was A G VijayKumar with four goals. Three goals were scored by S Vinod, two by V Anil Kumar and one each by N Gopakumar and S L Gopakumar.

The leading scorer for losers' West Bengal was Sanjay Jaiswal with four goals. One goal each was scored by Biswajit Das and Biswajit Dey.

Kerala will take on Services' team in the men's section tomorrow, which would decide the Gold and Silver medallists for water polo.
