Magan Singh to lead India XI in veterans match

Kozhikode, Jan 16 (UNI) Former Indian captain Maghan Singh will lead India XI against Kerala XI in the Veterans Football Match of Internationals to be played here on January 25.

The team will also include former internationals S S Narayan, Bernado Pereira, Bandhya P R, Bhupinder Rawat, Prasannan, Amza Koya, Kittu Singh and Shekhar Mitty.

Kerala XI will comprise of C C Jacob, M M Jacob, Xavier Pious, Najimudheen, Hameed P, Jaffer, Mani, Mambad Rahman, Malappuram Azeez, Pappachan and Shrafali.

Proceeds from the event, being organised by Football Players Association, Kozhikode, will be contributed to the pension fund for the former soccer players, according to a press release here today.
