M D Vidhyapeeth won All India Inter-Univresity wrestling tournament

Kolhapur, Nov 22: M D Vidhyapeeth Rohtak won the general championship in the All India Inter-University Wrestling Tournament 2007-2008 in men's and women's section collecting 131 points here.

Charansingh Vidhyapeeth Meerut women and Punjab Vidhyapeet men were declared as runners-up in the tournament yesterday.

The four-day long tournament was conducted at Kridamaharshi Meghnath Nageshkar Krida Sankul, Shivaji University here.

University Vice-Chancellor Dr M D Salunkhe gave away the awards at a simple function.
