Leading sportspersons to be felicitated by Indian Gymkhana

Mumbai, July 26 (UNI) The Indian Gymkhana, as part of its platinum jubilee celebrations, will on July 28 felicitate leading sportspersons who have donned the national colours.

The sportspersons to be felicitated include badminton ace Prakash Padukone, hockey stars Dhanraj Pillay and Ashish Ballal, table tennis duo of Kamlesh Mehta and Monalisa Mehta, and athlete Ashwini Nachappa, among others, a press release here today stated.

These sportspersons would be felicitated at the hands of Governor S M Krishna.

The Indian Gymkhana, one of the oldest sporting institutions in the city, has also planned a host of other sporting events to mark its platinum jubilee.
