Lajong beats J and K Bank

Kochi, Mar 20 (UNI) In the last cluster-two match, Lajong Sports Club pipped Jammu and Kashmir Bank by one goal in the ONGC second division National Football League here today.

Kyrshan Lyneshing scored the lone goal in the 85th minute.

The match, was only of academic interest as both teams were out of contention for the final phase. It was a lacklustre game as the teams pursued defensive strategies.

From this cluster, Salgaocar Club, Viva Kerala and Army XI had qualified for the final phase to be played in Kozhikode from March 25.
