Lahiri, Das in joint lead at LG Jaypee Open Amateur

Greater Noida, Aug 2 (UNI) Manav Das fired a penultimate round of three under 69 to join Anirban Lahiri atop the leader board with a tally of 213 at the LG Jaypee Open Amateur Golf Championship here today.

Meanwhile, first round leader Lahiri shot a level par 72 today to share the top position jointly with Manav. S K Lakra carded a 73 to occupy the third place at 219, while Mithun Perera and Ajeetesh Sandhu were tied fourth at 220. Perera hit a 75 while Sandhu brought returned with a card of 77.

Delhi's Kapil Kumar fired an equally impressive round of 69 to join Vikram Rana (71) in tied sixth place. The duo of Fatebir Dhaliwal (74) and Pawan Kumar (75) were a further stroke behind in tied eighth place at 223.
