Kirmani hospitalised following chest pain

Bangalore, Nov 19 (UNI) Former Test cricketer S M H Kirmani was hospitalised here today, following chest pain.

Wockhrdt Hospital CEO Dr Vishall Bali told UNI that after Kirmani complained of chest pain, he was admitted to the hospital this morning.

''Various tests were conducted and he is keeping good health.

He may be discharged in a couple of days,'' Dr Bali said.

''Since he complained of chest pain, we will be conducting various tests including Angeogram. But he is keeping good health and nothing to worry,'' he added.

Kirmani was appointed as State Selection Committee Chairman by the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) at a Managing Committee meeting held last week.
