Kerala, Karnataka register comfortable wins

Palakkad, Feb 10 (PTI) Kerala middle-order batsman RohanPrem''s brilliant 77 and medium pacer Prashant Parameswaran''s4 for 31 helped the hosts beat Andhra by 69 runs in the PSubaiah Pilla cricket tournament here today.

In another match, Karnataka defeated Goa by six wickets.

Brief scores: Kerala 243 for 9 in 50 overs (Rohan Prem77, Sankara Rao 3/40, Mohammed Basha 3/39) beat Andhra 174 allout in 42.1 overs (V Sumanth 68, Prashant Parameswaran 4/31).

Goa 180 (all out) in 44 overs (Rahul Keni 48, Vinaykumar4/35, Sunil Raju 2/40) lost to Karnataka 184/4 in 33.2 overs(Ganesh Satish 67 not out, Robin Uthappa 32).
