Kerala, TN win super league matches

Kochi, Nov 6 (UNI) Kerala and Tamil Nadu posted easy victories as they defeated Orissa (86-50) and Karnataka (96-61) respectively in their super league matches at the 8th All India BSNL Basketball Tournament at Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium here today.

Kerala had a comfortable lead of 51-26 at half-time with Rahul Krishna and Bobit Mathew scoring 18 points each and well supported by international Vijobi Vakkachan with 17 points. Saroj Kumar Behra scored 20 points for Orissa.

In the second league match, Tamil Nadu outplayed Karnataka with R Ramachandra scoring 23 points.
