Kerala retains title at BSNL Basketball Tournament

Kochi, Nov 7 (UNI) Kerala defeated last year's runner-up Tamil Nadu (95-66) to retain the All India BSNL Basketball Tournament title at the Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium here.

For Kerala, Rahul Krishna top scored with 23 points followed by Ullas Jose with 22 points and Bobit Mathew with 17 points. Saravana Kumar of Tamil Nadu came in with a good show scoring 24 points.

In the play-offs, Orissa defeated Karnataka (92-72) and secured third place in the tournament.

Trophies were distributed by Gopal Das (Director (HRD)BSNL, New Delhi and K S Srinivasan, Chief General Manager Kerala Telecom circle.
