Kamal to lead Indian challenge in World Championships

New Delhi, Feb 22 (UNI) Commonwealth champion Achanta Sharath Kamal will spearhead the Indian challenge in the World Table Tennis team championships to be held in China from February 24 to March 2.

India will field a strong team consisting of Soumyadeep Roy, Subhajit Saha, Nisheeth Mehta Pathik and Amal Raj Anthony Arputharaj.

In the women's section, India will be represented by Poulami Ghatak, Mouma Das, Kasturi Chakraborty, Kumaresen Shamini and Neha Aggarwal.

Belarussian coach Aleksey Yefemov is in charge of the men's team while the women will be coached by Mantu Ghosh.
