Jyoti climbs, Shiv slips in Wales open
Wales, June 2 (UNI) Indian pro Jyoti Randhawa carded a one-under 68 that saw him leap to tied 29 while compatriot Shiv Kapur languished at tied 61 after a dismal one-over 71 in the third round of the Wales Open here today.
Tied 32 overnight, 35-year-old Randhawa fired four birdies at the 6th, 13th, 14th and 16th holes while dropping bogeys at the 4th, 5th and 8th to tally 4-under-203.
But out-of-form Kapur failed to climb up the charts as he dropped four bogeys while managing just two birdies to aggregate one-over 208.
Leading the way is local hero Bradley Dredge and German golfer Martin Kaymer, both carding 10-under 197s followed by Richard Sterne of South Africa who totalled 9-under 198.
