Junior Women Boxing National Camp begins on April 15

Visakhapatnam, Apr 14 (UNI) Fifty two boxers from across the country will participate in the Junior Women Boxing National Camp hosted by the District Boxing Association (DBA) from April 15 to May 10 here.

Informing this to mediapersons here today, Indian Boxing team Manager G V Raviraju said the camp would select players for the championships, which would be held in Russia, Switzerland and Turkey.

Mr Raviraju also expressed hapiness over the performance of the Indian team in the Kings Cup international championship at Bangkok, where Jitender Kumar, Nasjeet Singh and Vijender won silver medals and Dinesh Kumar a bronze medal.
