J'khand announces players for National Games in Guwahati
Ranchi, Feb 3 (UNI) Jharkhand Olympic Association today named a 150-member squad representing different diciplines for 33rd National Games beginning in Guwahati next week.
JOA's spokesperson and Chief-de-mission Mahdukant Pathak said the squad will leave for Guwahati on February 5.
Former India women hockey captain Sumrai Tete will lead the state during the inaugural ceremony, he said.
Jharkhand will take part in hockey, archery, athletics, boxing, gymnastic, shooting, swimming, karate, triathlon and lawn bowls.
Besides the players, 30 other officials and delegates will accompany the squad.
