Jimenez wins in Hong Kong as Karlsson implodes at the last

HONG KONG, Nov 18 (Reuters) Spain's Miguel Angel Jimenez won the Hong Kong Open by one stroke on 15-under-par after long-time leader Robert Karlsson blew up on the final hole today.

A bogey at the last hole for a final round three-under 67 was enough for a second victory for the 43-year-old at the 2.25 million dollars co-sanctioned tournament after his 2004 triumph.

Swede Karlsson, who had a four-stroke lead at the start of the day, fluffed a chip from the rough at the 18th and registered a double bogey to drop to 14-under after a two-over 72.

The 38-year-old Karlsson shared second with South Korea's K J Choi and Thailand's Thongchai Jaidee, while another Swede, Peter Hanson, was fifth on 13-under.
