Jharkhand Sainik School wins trophy

Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 5 (UNI) Sainik school Tilaiya from Jharkhand emerged victorious in the All India Sainik Schools' Inter Zonal Basketball Tournament that concluded here today.

The winners of five zonal tournaments took part in this championship. PC Thomas, MP, and an alumnus of the school was the chief guest for the concluding ceremony and distributed prizes to the winners.

Over 60 participants from five Sainik Schools namely Nagrota in Jammu and Kashmir, Rewa in Madhya Pradesh, Amaravathinagar in Tamil Nadu, Imphal in Karnataka and Tilaiya in Jharkhand participated in the week-long tournament.
