Jeev looks to revive top form at Qatar Masters

Doha, Jan 23 (UNI) Jeev Milkha Singh will be aiming to recover from a disappointing start to his season when he tees off with the likes of Ernie Els, Retief Goosen and Sergio Garcia at the star-studded Commercialbank Qatar Masters from January 25-28.

Jeev, who finished a career high 31st in Golf Rankings last year, has made a poor start this year missing the cut at the two million dollar Abu Dhabi Championships last week.

The seasoned pro will be joined by compatriot Rahil Gangjee at the Doha Golf Club in the chase for the 332,800 dollar prize money.

Gangjee has made a bright start this season, finishing joint fifth in last week's Pakistan Open in Karachi.

Meanwhile, title holder Henrik Stenson of Sweden and Fijian Vijay Singh will also be in the list of competitors along with Lee Westwood and Robert Karlssen.

Stenson, who showed his liking for the daunting Doha course as he romped to an emphatic three-stroke victory in the co-sanctioned event between the Asian Tour and European Tour last year, will be aiming for a second title in a row.
