Jeev, Kapur all set to miss cut; Jyoti stage remarkable recovery
Adare Manor, May 18 (UNI) Jeev Milkha Singh was all set to miss the weekend action after carding a nightmarish 10-over 82, one of his worst show in recent years, even as Jyoti Randhawa staged a remarkable recovery by gaining five strokes on a blemish-free front nine on Day Two at the Irish Open here today.
Another Indian in the fray, Shiv Kapur was also in a precarious situation after a 74 as his two-day total of seven-over 151 put him at tied 83rd spot, well outside the projected cut.
Crowd favorite Padraig Harrington (68) was the leading the field by a stroke when the news last came in.
