Jeev at tied 8th position in British Masters golf
Belfry, Britain, Sep 26 (UNI) Ace Indian golfer Jeev Milkha Singh carded an impressive three-under-par 69 to be tied eighth after the first round of the British Masters here.
Jeev's compatriots Shiv Kapur shot a 70, while Jyoti Randhawa fired 73 here yesterday.
Jeev carded six birdies to end the day three shots behind co-leaders Marcus Fraser and Mikael Lundberg.
Still suffering from an ankle injury, Jeev needs to stay inside the top-15 to earn exemptions into next year's British Open and US Open.
''I am playing well and it is a good start. I will try and build on it,'' said Jeev.
