JCT's Sunil Chhetri voted Best player of NFL

New Delhi, May 26 (UNI) JCT's Sunil Chhetri was declared the Best player of the 11th NFL today.

Chhetri has also been named as Best forward while Odafe Okolie of Churchill Brothers will receive an award for being the highest scorer of the Tournament.

NFL champions Dempo skipper Roberto Mendes Silva was chosen the best midfielder while Mahindra United's Sandip Nandi and Mahesh Gawli were voted Best goal-keeper and Best defender respectively.

The awards will be distributed tomorrow at the Devi Lal Sports Complex at Gurgaon after the ONGC Super Cup match between NFL champions Dempo Sports Club and Federation Cup winners Mohun Bagan.
