Ivanovic wins Los Angeles title

Los Angeles, Aug 13: Ana Ivanovic won her second title of the year by beating Nadia Petrova 7-5 6-4 in the Los Angeles Classic final.

The 19-year-old Ivanovic, who reached this year's French Open final and the Wimbledon semi-finals, will move to a career-high number four when the world rankings are released today.

She joined fellow Serbian Novak Djokovic in the winner's circle yesterday after her childhood friend upset world number one Roger Federer to win the Montreal Masters final.

''He played amazing and I was motivated to do the same thing,'' Ivanovic told reporters.
