Ishant to play for Delhi in Zonal One dayers

New Delhi, Feb 3 (PTI) Speedster Ishant Sharma who failedto make it to the Indian squad for the upcoming World Cup willbe representing Delhi in the Inter-State One Dayers (NorthZone) which will be held in Punjab from February 10.

Ishant will now spearhead the pace attack which alsoconsists of Pradeep Sangwan, Sumit Narwal among the notablenames.

Leggie Chetanya Nanda who was dropped from the RanjiTrophy squad after poor show against Bengal has been recalleddue to his success in the shorter format. Mithun Manhas willlead the team which has rookie 19-year-old off-spinner MilindKumar who has only played two T20s for Delhi last year.

Left-arm spinner Puneet Mehra who played three one dayerslast year along with Joginder Singh have been recalled.
