Irina leads after opening round of Women's Professional Tour

New Delhi, Feb 22 (UNI) Irina Brar opened a three-stroke lead at the top on the first day of the sixth and final leg of the DLF Women's professional Golf Tour which teed off at DLF Golf and Country Club here.

Irina was ahead of Shalini Malik while Parnita Garewal trailed at the third position with a score of 83.

Irina had a near perfect round with 12 pars and three birdies but suffered double bogies on the third, fourth and the 14th holes to return a card of 74.
