Injuries not a worry: Raju

Chittagong, May 21 (UNI) National selector Venkatapathy Raju said it was not a real worry to see players getting injured during the Bangladesh series.

Talking to UNI on arrival to Chittagong last night, Raju said, ''We have come to see the team play. Its part of the regular job.'' On whether three players getting injured on such a short tour was a concern, he said, ''Not really. It's part and parcel of the game.'' Manoj Tewari injured his shoulder with a rash dive to stop a ball during fielding. Sreesanth injured his cuff muscle while fielding during the first ODI and Munaf Patel returned home with a lower back spasm.

Ishant Sharma came in to fill in for the lanky pacer.

Raju and Ranjib Biswal arrived here tonight to watch the last two days of the rain affected Test match between India and Bangladesh.
