Injured Inzaghi out of Milan squad for trip to Celtic

ROME, Feb 18 (Reuters) AC Milan striker Filippo Inzaghi will miss Tuesday's Champions League match against Celtic after failing to recover from a muscle strain.

The Italian international was left out of the squad for the first leg of the last 16 tie at Celtic Park.

Inzaghi's place in the squad was taken by 18-year-old Davide Di Gennaro, a youth team striker who has never played for Milan's first team in Serie A or abroad.

Of Milan's first-team strikers, only two -- Alberto Gilardino and Ricardo Oliveira -- have been picked to make the trip to Scotland.

January signing Ronaldo is unavailable for the six-times European champions having already played in the competition for Real Madrid this season, while Marco Borriello is suspended after failing a drugs test.
